Welcome to the Little Blue Cart platform! By listing your business in our Directory or selling through our Market, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. We built this space to support progressive, purpose-driven small businesses—and that means we have a few non-negotiables to keep it safe, fair, and aligned with our values.

1. Who These Terms Are For

These terms apply to any shop, vendor, or business using Little Blue Cart’s Directory or Market. By signing up, listing products, or participating in our platform in any way, you agree to follow these guidelines.

2. What We Stand For

We’re here to uplift small businesses doing good in the world. We do not allow any listings or behavior that promote:

  • Hate, racism, or discrimination of any kind
  • Harassment, intimidation, or disinformation
  • Products that glorify violence, white supremacy, or other harmful ideologies

If your business isn’t aligned with basic human decency, this isn’t the cart for you.

3. Seller Responsibilities

As a vendor on Little Blue Cart, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information about your business and listings
  • Follow all applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • Ensure your products are safe, legal, and honestly represented
  • Ship orders on time and communicate clearly with customers
  • Handle customer service, refunds, and returns professionally

4. Listings Must Be Accurate and Transparent

Every item listed in the Market must include:

  • Clear and accurate descriptions
  • Honest pricing
  • Realistic shipping timelines
  • Your refund and return policy

If you’re running a service-based business in the Directory, your profile must accurately reflect what you offer.

5. Shipping & Fulfillment

According to the FTC, you must:

  • Ship items within the promised timeframe (or within 30 days if unspecified)
  • Contact the buyer if there’s a delay and offer the option to cancel for a full refund
  • Clearly display shipping fees and policies

We take these rules seriously—so should you.

6. Returns, Refunds & Customer Service

You’re responsible for setting and clearly communicating your refund and return policies. If there’s a dispute, we may step in to help resolve it fairly—but ultimately, you’re in charge of your customer experience.

7. Taxes & Legal Stuff

You are responsible for:

  • Charging, collecting, and remitting any applicable taxes
  • Understanding and complying with legal obligations in your region
  • Making sure your listings don’t violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws

8. Prohibited Items

We don’t allow:

  • Hate symbols, racist content, or discriminatory language
  • Counterfeit or knockoff goods
  • Weapons or anything that glorifies violence
  • Misinformation or conspiracy-driven content

If you’re unsure if something crosses the line, err on the side of humanity—or just ask us.

9. Market Transparency (INFORM Consumers Act)

To comply with federal marketplace laws:

  • We may be required to collect and display basic business contact info for high-volume sellers
  • Buyers must have a way to report suspicious listings or counterfeit goods (we’re building that in!)

10. We Can Change Things

We’re a growing platform, and that means our Terms may evolve. If we update these Terms, we’ll let you know. Continuing to list or sell means you accept the changes.

11. We Can Say No

We reserve the right to remove listings, reject vendors, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms—or just don’t align with our mission. We’re here to build something meaningful, and we take that seriously.

For Shoppers

We publish these guidelines openly so you can shop with confidence. Every business you see on Little Blue Cart has agreed to uphold these standards, ensuring your purchases directly support fairness, democracy, and a future rooted in equality.

Short Version:

Be a good human. Sell honest stuff. Don’t bring hate into this space. Let’s grow something beautiful—together.
