The founders of Vote Like a Girl are two Virginia moms who were simply exhausted by the divisiveness and inaction of today’s politics. Inspired by the Women’s March of 2017, and devastated by the horror of the Unite The Right Rally in Charlottesville, Virginia a few months later, they decided to get to work on what they lovingly call today as their “merch with mission.”
They knew there were many organizations out there working tirelessly to bring about meaningful progress on issues that matter; like the the climate crisis, racial justice, reproductive freedom, and protecting and restoring the civil liberties, and rights of all of us. They wanted to support that work, AND celebrate the POWER of women to move that work, and our country, forward. And just like that, “Vote Like a Girl” was born.
For every item purchased from the Vote Like a Girl shop, 10% goes to one of the 20+ organizations they support — you choose the cause. It is Vote Like a Girl’s mission to make the world just a little bit better, one vote, one t-shirt at a time.
