The Thinking Spot is Minnesota’s first and only science-focused independent bookstore for all ages!

Located in Wayzata, we’ve got science books (of course!) plus great fiction—literary, mysteries, sci-fi, thrillers and more, and kids’ books galore. You’ll also find cool STEM toys, clever gifts, and all sorts of bookish treasures.

We’re all about mixing books and science, sparking big ideas, and building a community that loves to learn and imagine together. Come hang out, explore, join a bookclub or attend an event.

You’ll always leave having learned something new!
