I’ve always liked art, but beyond a short drawing phase in high school, I never pursued it. Then, one summer day in 2022, ADHD impulsivity kicked down the door like the Kool-Aid man and said, “Let’s do this!” So, this I’m doing! I started selling on Etsy in 2023, and this year, I built my website. Despite the up-and-down nature of running a business, I’ve truly enjoyed myself. It enables me to stay home with my disabled children and still help out with the bills. But, more than that, it gives me a sense of purpose more so than anything else I’ve pursued ever has.
