My name is Seasons Kaz Sparks (She/Her) and I draw, paint, design, video, and photograph all things Salty Raven.

My art mission: to share the transformative powers of nature in ways we can all utilize and connect to on a daily basis. I believe the beauty and energy of nature has the power to impact our general mental health and well-being.

I draw landscapes, nature, and wildlife, with images that are intended to transport the viewer to locations and experiences that evoke peace. I design functional premium products utilizing my artwork like ultra soft screen printed apparel and dishwasher and microwave safe art glassware.

My amazing all women team, my partner, and I have created an Eco conscious maker to patron shopping experience with our Salty Raven retail stores located on the Oregon Coast in Tillamook, Cannon Beach, and Astoria.
We also ship globally to select wholesale accounts and retail customers on our website saltyraven.net.

“Flock of Gerrys” is a cast of characters I created centered around my pet seagull Gerry, drawn to evoke joy and giggles. I have written, illustrated, printed, and published two books about them that include positive messaging and music.

A bit about my background:

• I’m originally from Portland, OR & grew up coming to the Oregon Coast since I was a baby. Since 2016 I have lived on the coast, where I find peace, perspective, and inspiration daily.
• I have always created multiple forms of art.
• I spent most of my career curating and helping other artists reach their goals as the brand ambassador for Presents of Mind, a boutique retailer in Portland.
• In 2008 I started creating Tees to sell as a side business and in 2020 I left my 30 year job and began being supported solely by my art as the brand Salty Raven.
