Midbest Threads began as a small project I started with my mom, who first taught me how to sew. What started as a shared creative interest has grown into a one-woman business that I now run on my own, built on the same values of quality and care she instilled in me.
Each piece is designed, cut, and sewn by hand in small batches, often as one-of-a-kind garments. I focus on creating comfortable, fun clothing using cotton fabrics, with close attention to detail. I also offer custom sizing, because clothing should be made to fit real bodies—not the other way around.
My goal is to create pieces that feel personal and are made to last—clothing with true hand-me-down quality that can be worn, loved, and passed along for years to come.
Midbest Threads is rooted in slow fashion: choosing quality over quantity, and individuality over mass production. When you support my work, you’re supporting small-batch craftsmanship, and a legacy of handmade tradition.
