Hi, we’re LXMI!

For the modern consumer worried about the state of the world, LXMI, a BIPOC+female-founded social impact brand, provides mindfully crafted, clinically effective botanical skincare that gives fair-wage work to marginalized communities in developing nations and protects vulnerable ecosystems.

It’s an empowering way to fight climate change and global poverty through daily skincare habits.

We do this by partnering with women’s fair-trade cooperatives and Indigenous communities in developing nations in the wild-harvesting process of the rare botanicals we use in our skincare line. Furthermore, our #givework model also provides financial incentive to underserved communities to preserve the local biodiversity, limit deforestation and habitat loss for wildlife by showing them that this circular, sustainable harvesting of natural resources is more valuable in the long run, rather than, for example, being forced to lease the land to mining companies or clearing the land for cattle grazing.

The result is holistic, wholesome botanical skincare with non-synthetic, transparent ingredients that have been ethically sourced to empower both the end user and the people throughout the whole supply chain. We call it Beauty for Humanity™ – because nothing gives a better glow than knowing you’ve done something nice for your body, other people and the planet.
