WHY SOCIAL IMPACT:

We partner with women’s fair-trade cooperatives and Indigenous communities in developing nations in the wild-harvesting process of the rare botanicals we use in our skincare line. Beyond dignified, fair wage work, our #givework model also provides financial incentive to underserved communities to preserve the local biodiversity, limit deforestation and habitat loss for wildlife by showing them that circular, sustainable harvesting of natural resources is more valuable over time compared to for example, leasing the land to mining companies or clearing the land for cattle grazing.
