Beauty in Being Broken sells apparel and accessories with a mental health focus. The goal is to spread positivity as far as possible, while removing mental health stigma. Product line includes t-shirts, hoodies, bags, water bottles and hats. “The concept of Beauty in Being Broken can be larger and more meaningful than wearing a well-known, mainstream design or label. It’s about being kind, brave and courageous, provoking deep thought, feeling less alone and coming out of the darkness and into the light. It’s about mental health – raising the importance of checking in on yourself, and those around you, whether family, friends or strangers. Beauty in Being Broken is about our journey to understand that a good life is not always shiny, bright or “perfect”. While we are whole people, that’s not to say that we aren’t also a little broken or cracked. We all feel broken at times in our life, but our ability to heal, grow and learn from those hard experiences is what makes us into who we are today.”
