Hi, I’m Summer, the maker behind A Little Bit of Summer — a small business with a big heart and a love for color, whimsy, and purpose. I create bold, quirky acrylic earrings and keepsake ornaments that bring a little sunshine into everyday life. Whether it’s a pair of zombie earrings, a T-Rex skull, or a pair of Resist! earrings, everything I design is meant to spark joy, start a conversation, or make someone laugh out loud. I started my business making party favors but then the pandemic happened and kids birthday party’s were canceled. I transitioned my business by purchasing a laser with my stimulus money and started making ornaments to capture fond memories of travel and earrings that are quirky. But there’s more to this shop than funky earrings. Giving back is a huge part of what I do. I regularly donate 100% of the sale price (not just profits) from select earring sets to causes that matter to me. That includes direct support to families in Gaza and donations to the Ukrainian army. That means if a pair sells for $13, I donate the full $13—even if it puts me in the red after fees and materials. I’m not a big business doing this for show—I’m a one-woman shop committed to helping however I can, and I choose to give generously, not conveniently.
