How did I get into this work? 20+ years ago I worked with my mother refinishing kitchen cabinets and faux painting walls in San Diego while working on my teaching credential. I spent the last 20 years serving as a middle school teacher. (Yes, I am crazy!) During that time I bought and sold 4 homes ranging from 1920-2003 eras. While doing most of the work myself, I have learned a lot!

Crafting has always been my passion, so after resigning from my teaching career, I got my contractor’s license to help others make things pretty. 

In my personal life, my boyfriend and I have been working on refurbishing a 1977 ranch home to fulfill my dreams of a hobby farm with alpacas.
