I am currently licensed to practice in the state of Colorado. I was Born in the Dominican Republic and Raised in Washington Heights, NYC. September Virgo, who is also the eldest Latina Daughter. I have a bachelors in Psychology, completed at The City University of New York. I have a Masters in Social Work, via Simmons University out of Boston, MA. I identify as She/Her/Ella. The Army brought me to Colorado Springs, as I was a Military Spouse for over 15+ years. Deployments, Trainings, PCS, Unaccompanied Tours, FRG Groups…I have experienced most of it! I have two Military kids: A teen and a preteen. My most current experiences prior to opening up my own Private Practice include: Working as a Military & Family Life Counselor at Fort Carson, Peterson SFB, Fort Polk and Fort Stewart. I have worked inpatient as a Military Social Worker in the FLAGS Military Program, at Longleaf Hospital in LA. My experience also includes working as a Government Employee as the Community Outreach Coordinator at Fort Polk. I have also worked in Veteran and Civilian Drug Court Programs as a Substance Use/Mental Health Counselor and within Community Mental Health.
