Barkuterie Shop was born from a lifelong passion for animals and a deep commitment to their well-being. For over fourteen years, our owner has proudly served as the founder of Missouri Lost & Found Paws, a volunteer-run non-profit community service dedicated to reuniting lost and found pets with their families across the state. Through partnerships with animal control, shelters, rescues, and first responders, we have worked tirelessly to make sure no pet is left behind. In 2007, our Scanning Partners Across Missouri program was launched to provide universal microchip scanners to animal control facilities and police departments helping pets return home safely, no matter where they were found.

That same passion for advocacy and innovation became the foundation of Barkuterie Shop. Our owner wanted to create something that not only celebrated pets but also elevated the way we care for them. The concept was simple but revolutionary: what if we could bring the joy of an ice cream truck experience—only designed for pets—directly to neighborhoods and events? From that vision, Barkuterie Shop was born, introducing a mobile boutique that brings “Yappy Hour” right to your doorstep.

Every interaction with a pet and their family is the heart of our business. It is our greatest joy to see tails wag, paws dance with excitement, and humans laugh as they share these special moments.
