“I have been a jewelry designer for over 20 years. I went from a hobbyist, to owning a studio/retail shop for over 12 years and now work from home. I have always loved everything handmade; items that show the mark of the makers hand in their finished product. I make everything myself and focus on mainly one of a kind designs to keep the integrity of my work feeling like an artisan piece and not mass produced. This same philosophy was a part of my retail shop (I miss it so much). When I owned my store, everything was carefully chosen small designers, almost always local women, and buying directly from fair trade or small importers when I purchased items from other countries. I truly believe there is so much integrity in that.now only wholesale to small shops and all of them are women owned.”
